Send a POST from Grafana, UptimeRobot, or any HTTP monitoring system to WakeUp Dev. WakeUp Dev calls the on-call responder and waits for a human acknowledgement. If nobody acknowledges the alert, the on-call cascade continues.
Traditional notifications tell you something happened. WakeUp Dev is designed for incident response where someone needs to actually respond. A phone call can provide a more direct notification when someone may not be watching their usual alert channels; press-1 ACK confirms a human received the alert before the cascade moves on.
